Finally, I want to show you my main means of transport, a small bus , which here is called "Matatu"...
For Kenyans people, I think seeing a Wasungu ( that's the name attributed to white people here) on a Matatu is very strange...but for me it is so funny !!
Kenyans drives make usually a lot of noise....and they drive in a crazy way but sometimes they make me feel like a princess just because of the colour of my skin....it seems so strange to me :)..!
Also, when I walk along the streets, everybody want to say hello to me, take my hands (especially some lovely children )....but for the adults is different, they can be really nosy so, sometimes I feel quite embarassed and just a little bit annoyed... :(...! But, this is Africa !

I was travelling with these buses also in Uganda. While driving I felt some 'touch' from back seat.. There were women touching and wondering about my hair. That was sooo funny.. :D Straight hair they find some kind of miracle. "You just wash it and that's really it???" :D But I responce that I love their creativity about hairstyles. There are million of ways how they made them, it's like the art! But we europeans are so lazy.. just wash them and that;s it :)
RispondiEliminaAnd about transportation.. Do they also have those 'bode bode' - motorbike taxi? We usualy used them travelling in short distances along the city center in Kampala.
Yes, they also have motorbike taxis, as well as a kind of taxy called "Tuc Tuc" :) So funny!!! ;) I really enjoyed the means of transport here....
RispondiEliminaAnd about hair...yesterday a guy was trying to tear down a piece!! Can u imagine?
